Software Engineer III (Web Developer)

Description
Responsibilities:
This position will support web development on both the internet and intranet. Position will have direct interaction with business users and will take the lead in
the enhancement of existing functionalities including articulating requirements and translating them into effective solutions. This position is responsible for
providing input to architecture, including database structures and metadata, implement best practices for web development across multiple technology
platforms.
Uses advanced software engineering / technical concepts and expertise to make material contributions to the design, coding, troubleshooting and unit testing
of software that meets product / customer specifications.
Leads or serves as a strategic technical / software programming resource in the design and implementation of e-commerce software, business software
applications, system architectures or software tools that achieve desired e-commerce, application and development functionality.
Solves highly complex software engineering problems / issues requiring insight and innovation. Software developed typically impacts division products / projects
/ processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
8-10 years of experience in development of web-based software, components and services using Microsoft .NET and familiarity with other web development
technologies
8 – 10 years experience in 2 or more of the following: SQL, SQL Server, VB.NET, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, UI Design
Familiarity with XML, XSLT, and related technologies.
Flex/AS3 a plus
Has broad programming / technical expertise in several product lines / technical bodies of knowledge.
Advanced object oriented design knowledge a plus.
Programming knowledge of UNIX/Windows operating system a plus.
Computer and/or gaming industry experience a plus.
Must have excellent organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills, and a high level of interpersonal skills.
Must be a self-motivated team player able to work in a customer-oriented, very fast-paced, and demanding environment with minimal supervision.
Must have a valid state driver's license and a clean driving record, and be able to obtain a gaming card.
