.NET Engineer (Web, C#)
Description
**This is a Contingent Staff (Contract) position. We expect the length of this assignment to be
not more than 12 months**
We are hiring a .NET Software Engineer to write server-side code for web-based applications,
for both internal and external use. We are looking for well-rounded developers who know how to
create robust high-volume production applications.
This position will utilize the following technologies (but not limited to):
· C#
· ASP.NET
· Ajax
· CSS
Ultimately, the success of the individual engineer is directly tied to the success of the
engineering team. We need people that can focus on delivering high-quality solutions, quickly.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Exposure to a broad range of current Microsoft technologies, and able to contribute
meaningfully to technology and product decisions.
Worked as a Engineer through the first and subsequent releases of at least (2+) successful
products, and at least one of which must be a large-scale enterprise application
Able to comfortably apply and recognize design patterns in determining algorithms,
design constructs and in making architectural decisions
Proven ability to estimate the time to develop software features and then to deliver on
that estimate
BS/MS/PhD in CS or equivalent.
Strong C# skills and object oriented design experience.
Experience in database design and SQL.
Experience in SharePoint workflow and document management are a plus.
Knowledge of session management, object relational mapping, XML web services, and
agile development methodologies desired.
