Position Summary:
.
The ideal Project Manager for this position thrives in a dynamic work environment and is able to juggle and prioritize multiple projects with ease. In addition,
this person should have in depth knowledge and understanding of Contact Center / CRM technologies including IVR, Call Tracking, Call routing and desktop
applications. They should be able to interact with the business to understand their requirements and act in a business liaison role, and actively contribute to
the overall design and planning of projects, including cost analysis and estimates.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage technology projects through full project lifecycle (inception through implementation) using a modified PMBOK methodology
Lead project teams consisting of technical and functional resources to successful project completion (we are a matrix organization)
Help identify, roadmap, and manage technology projects with focus on CRM / Call Center, which consists of:
Creating and managing project roadmap development, ensure alignment to business drivers, identify risk / reward tradeoffs, develop project ROI
Ensure business requirements definition and functional specifications are created and meet business expectations
Coordinate efforts between business units and technical teams
Develop and track to project plans and action items, manage projects within our Portfolio Management tool
Communicate project status, outstanding issues, and key changes in scope or schedule
Identify and work to resolve all project risks and issues
Report project and task status to executive teams
Maintain time tracking for project teams
Support team members on their projects and tasks
Required Skills:
Passionate about Customer Service (this is first on the list for a reason)!
Must be detail-oriented with strong problem solving and negotiating skills
Ability to quickly identify project risks and mitigate accordingly
Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
History of success in managing a diverse set of software development projects
Bachelor's degree (more education is cool, for you over-achiever types)
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
Proficient in MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and Powerpoint.
Able to travel 10-15%
Online ecommerce and retail experience a plus
Ability to manage projects in a waterfall, iterative, or hybrid SDLC
Sound understanding that there is no 'I' in team
